Guisborough Town slumped to a crushing defeat at Peterlee in the Albany Northern League on Saturday.
Peterlee took the lead on 16 minutes when debut player Jon Keegan volleyed a ten-yard shot past keeper Matt Coddington.
Guisborough equalised on 31 minutes. A well-placed cross from new boy Darren Roulston found another new signing Michael Todd who produced a curling shot the keeper was unable to save.
The second half was dominated by the home side. Coddington parried a shot from Vic Holt into the path of advancing striker Chris Creamer.
Steve Routledge made it 3-1 when he headed in a Carl White cross on 58 minutes
