A well-known spiritualist is holding two charity evenings in aid of a children's charity.
Valerie Pattison, of Chester-le-Street, whose gift has lead to her demonstrating around the world, is hoping to raise money for the Children's Heart Unit Fund at Newcastle's Freeman's Hospital.
Mrs Pattison was demonstrating with fellow mediums Doreen Taylor and John Clark from Northumberland and Joseph McConnell of Gateshead at Chester-le-Street's Bullion Hall this Friday at 7pm. Entrance cost £3 on the door, not £7 as we reported last week.
Another charity evening will be held at the Spiritualist Church in Durham on Saturday, September 2, at 6pm
