FORTUNE is always smiling on Jenny Thompson - the owner of the world's biggest collection of four-leafed clovers.
Jenny, 63, has no less than 150 of them in a photo album at her home in Morpeth, Northumberland.
She also has 17 seven-leaf clovers, 31 with six leaves and 65 of the five-leafed variety.
The countryside lover found most of them while walking on farmland near her home.
"I don't even play the lottery, although everyone tells me I should," she said.
The previous record for multi-leafed clovers was held by Allison Rix, of Lingdale, Cleveland, who had 14.
Yesterday a Guinness World records spokesman said: "We did recognise Allison Rix's collection as a world record but if Mrs Thompson send us details and proof she will be the new record holder.
