A POLICE inspector convicted of drink driving will have his future decided at a disciplinary hearing next month.
Philip Toulson, was coordinator of the Pubwatch Scheme, in South Shields, when he was arrested for drink-driving in East Boldon last November.
South Tyneside Magistrates heard in June how Toulson, 40, of West Moor Drive, Cleadon Village, had crashed into the back of a car, failed to stop, then went back to the pub for more drinks. He was banned from driving for 18 months and fined £1,040 after admitting careless driving, drink driving, failing to stop after an accident and failing to report it.
