A MAN found dead in his blazing Wearside home was last night named as Alan Ridley.
A post mortem examination revealed the 46-year-old died from natural causes.
Neighbours tried to revive Mr Ridley following the fire, in Howick Park, Monkwearmouth, Sunderland, at 1.45am yesterday.
Detective Inspector John Watts, of Sunderland City CID, said: "The man collapsed in his kitchen and neighbours, smelling smoke, entered the premises and tried to resuscitate him."
