A MAN was so badly burnt in a car blaze he had to be identified by his teeth, an inquest heard.
Security guard Karl Rolfe, 32, was on bail accused of theft from his employers and also deep in debt when he was found in the back of his charred car on waste ground in Whinney Banks, Middlesbrough, in February, Coroner Michael Shef-field was told.
Fire Brigade officer Martyn Emberson said investigations showed the blaze was probably started by combustible materials being lit inside the car.
Mr Rolfe, of Thornton Street, North Ormesby, Middlesbrough, died from burns and carbon monoxide poisoning.
Recording an open verdict, Mr Sheffield said there was not enough evidence to indicate Mr Rolfe intended to end his life
