A SEASIDE resort is to become a mecca for bikers - for one day.
Gleaming vintage machines, models from the roaring Sixties and Seventies, and the Japanese-dominated Eighties, will be display at the show, together with a special interest category.
There were record entries for last year's Teesside Classic Bike Show.
Organisers Redcar and Cleveland Council hope by inviting entries now for the show, to be held at the Redcar Leisure Centre, on October 8, they will attract even more bikes this year.
Event organiser Joanne Hodgson said: "It was a really successful show last year. We got over 100 entries, which is the best we've had for a long time and we're hoping if people get plenty of advance warning this time, we'll beat that figure."
There will be cash prizes for best bike in show and best club stand as well as trophies for the winners of each of its six show categories.
The show, which is run by the council in conjunction with local classic motorcycle enthusiasts, has been steadily growing in popularity over recent years.
Entry details are available from Joanne on (01642) 444373. She is also booking floor space for auto jumble, which attracted 25 stalls last year.
