HARRISON & Hetherington have announced a £500,000 investment in a new roof to cover open pens at Borderway Mart, Carlisle.
The company's pedigree sales in Carlisle have seen 4,012 dairy cattle and 2,394 beef animals. Top prices have been 15,000gns in the dairy ring in June for a pure imported Holstein from the Upsall dispersal, Middlesbrough, and 14,000gns in the beef ring for the Limousin bull, Bailea Olympia in May.
H&H are also opening a new livestock centre near Bristol
