BUS passengers are to have their say at a surgery in Hartlepool on Saturday.
The National Federation of Bus Users (NFBU), in conjunction with Stagecoach Hartlepool and Arriva North-east, will provide the bus users' surgery, on a Stagecoach bus parked in Villiers Street, between 10am and 3pm.
Dr Caroline Cahm, chairwoman of the NFBU, said: "Following the successful surgery held in Hartlepool last October it was decided to hold another one this year.
"We hope bus users will again make use of the opportunity to talk face-to-face with those responsible for the provision and operation of local bus services."
Management from both bus companies will be available all day, to answer questions and discuss problems about their services.
The transport section of Hartlepool Borough Council will also provide a member of staff to answer questions on subsided services, concessionary fares, bus lanes and bus stops.
In a few months time the NFBU will do a follow-up exercise with all those passengers who leave their names and addresses.
Dr Cahm said: "We will check if they were satisfied with the response to the points they raised at the surgery.
"We hope that holding the surgery on a bus parked in the town centre will make it even more convenient for as many bus users as possible to visit the surgery, even if they only have a few minutes spare to drop in."
