FIVE German motorcyclists left Stockton yesterday as part of an unusual artistic event.
The group, called MCo.T , has been involved in a number of international multi-art events, including films and photography.
The motorcyclists headed to Helmsley, North Yorkshire, as part of the Year of the Artist celebrations. The group will also see Croft Motor Racing Circuit, near Darlington, and architectural sites, before giving an artistic performance of their visit at the Cornerhouse, in Middlesborough, on Friday.
The project is sponsored by Stockton Borough Council, Tees Valley Tourism, P and O North Sea ferries and Northern Arts.
The bikers were led on their journey by Stockton council's tourism officer and keen biker, Kath Winspear
