THE ashes of car crash victims Susan Briggs and Angela Ovington will be laid to rest together.
The families of both women have agreed the best friends should be together in death and will carry out a service to bury their daughters' ashes.
NHS worker Susan, 30, of Gilesgate, Durham City, and teacher Angela, 28, of Vigo, near Chester-le-Street, died last week when they were hit by a car.
They had moved to Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, to take up new jobs and were walking home from a pub when they were hit by a BMW car, which had been followed by police.
Their friend, Victoria Fisher, 27, of Rochdale, Lancashire, was critically injured and died in Leeds General Infirmary at the weekend.
A fourth friend, Louise Tinkler, 28, of Chester-le-Street, suffered minor injuries.
A 39-year-old Huddersfield man has appeared before magistrates charged with three counts of manslaughter and one of drink-driving
