A COMMUNITY partnership scheme is to be launched in Dormanstown next week.
The Dormanstown Ward Community will pull together residents, community groups, businesses and public bodies.
Already, the police, schools, churches, community groups and businesses have pledged their support for the forum by signing up as members.
Speakers include Jacky Goult, the chairman of South Bank Community Forum, and Ted Moss, chairman of the Future Regeneration of Grangetown. They will talk about how their organisations helped develop their areas.
Ian Cockerill and Wendy Kelly, policy officers for Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, will explain how the area will benefit from the £6.875m won by the authority for West Redcar's four wards through the Government's Single Regeneration Budget.
The forum launch will be at 6.30pm next Wednesday, at the St William's Parish Centre, South Avenue, Dormanstown. A committee will be elected
