PUPILS and teachers at Red Hall Primary School, Darlington, are celebrating a glowing report.
Ofsted inspectors described it as very effective, saying pupils' attitudes to the school are very good and the teaching is also very strong.
The inspectors said the school could improve standards further by providing more opportunities for extended writing and making more effective use of information and community technology suites.
Red Hall headteacher Peter Boddy said the school was delighted with the report.
"It fully reflects the achievements brought about by extre-mely hard work on the part of everyone connected with Red Hall, especially the children and staff," he said.
"However, our aim is not to receive a good Ofsted report, but to provide the best education we can for our children. We welcome the report's praise and suggestions and remain committed to continual improvement."
