LITTLE Jack McCabe will net his father £50,000 if he turns into a football star.
John McCabe's friends put on a £10 bet at odds of 5,000-1 that the month-old baby would one day play for England.
They presented the William Hill betting slip to John as a present to celebrate his son's birth.
Mr McCabe plans to have it framed and put on the wall of the family home in Blyth, Northumberland.
The Newcastle United fan said: "My mates planned this as a surprise present.
"I bet he will be a good player, He won't have much choice, because I coach football in my spare time and I'll have him kicking a ball as soon as he is on his feet.
"He was born in the Royal Victoria Infirmary, in Newcastle, and the first thing I did was go to St James's Park to buy him a little Newcastle kit.
"Unfortunately they don't make them that small, so I bought him a dummy instead."
Mr McCabe's friend, David McNvelia, 21, said: "We'll have Jack down the field with a football before he can even walk.
"If he ever does play for England he'll be rich enough - so maybe he'll give us the money."
Jack faces strong competition for an England shirt from Alan's Shearer's baby son Will.
Bookies are quoting shorter odds of 250-1 for Shearer junior to make the England team
