THE work of a staff member and inmate at a young offenders' institution will be recognised tomorrow.
HM Deerbolt, in Barnard Castle, County Durham, was approached earlier this year to do a garden makeover for Colin Lincoln, who has been left extensively paralysed by a post-viral infection, Guillain-Barre syndrome.
Colin's friend, John Williams, an officer at Deerbolt, worked alongside a young inmate to transform Colin's overgrown garden in Victoria Road, Darlington.
To officially recognise their efforts, Derek Foster MP will unveil a plaque in Colin's garden tomorrow.
