A COUNCIL is planning to give rural residents a greater insight into its decision-making process next week when it moves to the countryside.
A committee of Richmondshire District Council, in North Yorkshire, will meet for the first time outside Richmond or Leyburn, on Tuesday, to discuss issues affecting Dales residents.
The economic, cultural and leisure committee meets at the Dales Countryside Museum, in Hawes, and the meeting will include talks from the Wensleydale Railway Company and the Northern Dales Red Meat Initiative.
The meeting starts with the presentations at 6.30pm and business moves to the agenda at 7.30pm.
