Spennymoor manager Peter Mulcaster could wield the axe as his side search for their elusive first win of the season today.
Moors go to Burscough bottom of the table and needing three points to lift morale.
Mulcaster has had a busy last few days trying to sign players and while he won't disclose names, he is hoping to capture at least two. He is also waiting on international clearance for a midfielder.
"Everybody's had a chance now, and I know what I need," he said.
"The frustrating part is getting there. I'm hoping to sign three players over the weekend from the Northern League, one of whom could be a goalkeeper."
Lee Bennett, Paul Zand and David Bellamy will all have fitness tests.
Bishop Auckland take on Gainsborough at Kingsway, looking for their second win inside four days.
"We haven't got into gear yet," said manager Tony Lee.
"We've still got players injured but when they're back we'll have a really strong squad."
David Gallagher, Danny Brunskill, Anthony Lee and Andy Howarth are all struggling with injuries and will probably all miss today's game.
Whitby's home game with Colwyn Bay has been postponed because of the fuel crisism, but instead they will go to Blyth, whose game with Bamber Bridge has been postponed for the same reason. Whitby manager Harry Dunn may make changes to the side which lost at Marine last week.
Former Leeds United assitant manager Mick Hennigan has been appointed the new manager of Unibond League Division One side Harrogate Town.
