POLICE are searching for two drivers involved in separate road accidents in Cleveland.
The first accident happened on Friday at 2.30pm when a 15-year-old boy lost control of his bike as a car swerved towards him. The boy, who has not been named, was riding with two friends along Stanghow Road towards Lingdale, east Cleveland, when a red Toyota began to overtake them.
The car pulled back into the side of the road when the driver saw oncoming traffic and this caused the boy to swerve. His bike hit the kerb and landed in a bush. He sustained a broken collar bone.
Police believe the driver may not be aware that there had been an accident and are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to call Saltburn police on (01642) 302626.
The second incident happened yesterday at 11.15am in Brooksbank Avenue, Redcar.
A three-year-old girl was hit by a white car and sustained a sprained ankle and bruising. The driver did not stop.
Anyone with information about that incident is asked to contact police on the same number
