A FATHER was jailed for five years yesterday after police discovered cocaine and cannabis in his home.
John Jobson denied any knowledge of the drugs when he was interviewed by the police.
But yesterday, Jobson, 42, of Berwood Close, Stockton, appeared before Teesside Crown Court for sentencing, after he had earlier been convicted of possession of cocaine and cannabis with intent to supply it.
Matthew Bean, prosecuting, told the court the drugs found in the house last September were worth £9,158.
Jobson had told the police he had never seen the drugs in his house and suggested that others may have left the drugs there, said Mr Bean.
Christine Egerton, defending, pointed out that her client was a father of two children
