A series of classical concerts starts at one of Redcar's landmarks next week.
The chapel at Sir William Turner's Hospital, Kirkleath-am, is the venue for the concerts, which start on Thursday, September 28, with international pianist Richard Orm-erod.
Other concerts range from sonatas by Bach to a medley by Gershwin, the Cleveland Chamber Ensemble, featuring soprano Judith Heartily, and international pianist Marcantonio Barone.
Proceeds will be used towards the upkeep of the 300-year-old candlelit chapel and for the benefit of the almspeople.
The almshouses are undergoing a £1.6m restoration scheme funded by the Housing Corporation and the Heritage Lottery Fund.
