TWO women were left shocked after being threatened by an armed robber at a bookmakers.
The incident happened at the Reg Boyle bookmaker's, near Lanehouse Road, Thornaby, on Teesside, at 5.30pm on Tuesday.
The man, who is believed to be in his late twenties, pointed a handgun at the two female members of staff, before fleeing with a quantity of cash.
The robber is described as white, thin build, 5ft 7in tall, with short dark hair. He was wearing a green jacket, red polo shirt, dark trousers and trainers.
