POLICE are seeking a hit-and-run driver who left an elderly motorcyclist badly injured after knocking him off his machine.
The collision happened at 12.40pm on Sunday, when the 61-year-old man was riding his 900cc Yamaha from Guisborough, North Yorkshire, to Skelton, East Cleveland.
The rider was in collision with a red car as it turned around in a bus lane in Skelton High Street, opposite Dixon Street.
The motorist drove off, leaving the man lying on the ground with a broken collar bone and broken ribs.
He was later taken to Middlesbrough General Hospital for treatment.
