SHOPPERS in Durham City on Saturday will be greeted by the sight of two young friends in drag - but it's all for a good cause.
Framwellgate Moor School pupils Anthony Price and Chris Harrison, both 14, will don women's clothes and hit the streets with collecting buckets for the Alistair Wadge Special Needs Fund.
Money raised will help buy a wheelchair for the eight-year-old, of Framwellgate Moor, who suffers from cerebral palsy.
The boys will set off from The Salutation Inn, Dryburn View, at 11am and will walk to the Market Place, before turning around and heading back to Framwellgate Moor.
The youngsters hope to raise more than £100 towards the £3,000 cost of the wheelchair
