A spectacular National Trust property has taken on an even more colourful look - thanks to the work of North Yorkshire artist Brian Pike. Nunnington Hall, near Helmsley, is playing host to an exhibition of his work until the end of the month. Viewing his work, above, is manager Anthea Edwards. Brian is a professional artist, who lives and works in Richmond and his work has been widely exhibited across the North. Although best-known for his paintings, he is also involved in printmaking, electronic art work and installation projects. He was one of the first artists in the North to set up his own gallery on the Internet, at www.intuition.demon.co.uk Picture: RICHARD DOUGHT
