A breakdown recovery service operator is to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Relief, by offering motorists cups of coffee.
Metcalfes, of Thirsk, will be taking part in the Macmillan World's Biggest Coffee Morning event next Friday, by giving a free cup of coffee to each Britannia Rescue member it attends that day.
In return, Britannia Rescue will give £1 to Macmillan Cancer Relief for each cup of coffee served.
Metcalfes is just one of 135 Britannia Rescue agents across the UK which will participate in the coffee morning, Macmillan's biggest annual fundraiser.
Sheila Metcalfe, for the firm, said: "It will be great to know that we are helping to raise money for the charity and hopefully our coffee will help to cheer up the Britannia Rescue members who have broken down on the day."
The charity hopes to raise more than £2.5m through the coffee morning.
