A WOMAN was being questioned by detectives last night following the discovery of a man's body on Teesside.
The grisly discovery was made at a house in the secluded, terraced village of Charltons, near Guisborough.
Police said they were called at 10.30am yesterday to a house "where the body of a man had been found''.
A spokesman said the death was being treated as suspicious, and that a woman was helping them with their inquiries.
Police forensic experts in special overalls were seen entering and leaving the house, which has a For Sale sign outside it, throughout the day.
Stunned neighbours say a couple moved into the house only this week.
The woman was being held by detectives for questioning at Redcar, last night.
A Cleveland Police spokes-man said: "The body has not been identified - we don't know who he is. The death is suspicious and we are investigating.''
Police would not reveal any details about the man, nor how he met his death.
