The murder trial against a man alleged to have gunned down a man in a Middlesbrough street will take place next year.
The date of February 5 was fixed yesterday for the three-week hearing against Keith McQuade, 45, at Teesside Crown Court.
McQuade, of no fixed address, but from Park End, Middlesbrough, is charged with the murder of Lee King, 32, of Stonor Walk, Park End, on January 28.
His body was discovered in Penistone Road, Park End, with shotgun wound to the head and back.
McQuade was remanded in custody yesterday by Judge Peter Fox.
