DISABLED youngsters and their families enjoyed autumn sunshine during a free visit to Beamish Museum.
Almost 300 people took advantage of the offer to have a free day at the open air museum, near Stanley, on Saturday.
The event was organised by the Durham Area Disability Leisure Group and the tickets were paid for by Sedgefield's Alexander Developments (North-East) Ltd.
Project manager Lynne Watson said: "It was a brilliant day. We were really lucky with the weather."
The group is looking for volunteers and has places on the cycleability scheme.
It is holding a fundraising dinner on Saturday at Hardwick Hall, Sedgefield, when signed footballs and a bottle of whisky from Tony Blair will be auctioned.
