On Saturday Guisborough travelled to Division One rivals Morpeth and comfortably eased their way into the last 16 of the Albany Northern League Cup, with both Darren Mowbray and substitute Richie Storr bagging a brace of goals apiece.
Guisborough took the lead on 30 minutes when top scorer Mowbray raced in to convert a Steve Corden cross.
From then on Guisborough were in total control of the game.
Fifteen minutes into the second half Mowbray doubled Guisborough's goal count, this time from a spat after Roulston was fouled.
On 73 minutes Richie Storr headed in a Corden cross from the left and on 80 minutes he was to get his second and Guisborough's fourth from a glancing header from a well-taken Jamie Allinson right-sided corner kick.
Team: Carter, Roulston, Allinson, Corden, Mowbray, Driscoll, Ward, Forster, Bell, Whiffield, Richie (Storr).
Guisborough's next match is away to seventh from bottom Consett tomorrow. Ko, 3pm
