MARSKE United travelled to South Yorkshire to meet Rossington Main in the FA Vase and had little trouble in progressing to the next round.
United struck in their first attack after nine minutes when John Woods crossed for Darren Sankey to head home.
The heat began to take its toll in the second period and the pace of the game dropped as United took control.
Chris Reeve eventually made the game safe for Marske when he fired in off a defender from a Simon Kasonali corner.

United travel to Unibond premier league side Bamber Bridge in the FA Cup tomorrow. If a reply is not needed United will entertain Hebburn at Mount Pleasant Avenue on Tuesday, ko 7.45pm.
