AN exhibition of some of the finest wildlife images from across the world is to go on display at a museum.
The Yorkshire Museum, in York, is hosting the Wildlife Photographer of the Year contest from tomorrow until November 5.
The competition, organised by the Natural History Museum and BBC Wildlife Magazine, is an annual event, open to professional and amateur photographers of all ages.
Marketing assistant at the museum, Anne Skelton, said: "We are delighted to be able to host this major photographic exhibition. The entries are stunning and of a very high standard and well worth coming to see."
The museum is open daily from 10am to 5pm. Admission prices are £4.50 for adults, £2.75 children and concessions. York residents get in for £2.75 adults and £1.75 children. Further information is available on (01904) 629745.
