KEVIN Henderson's fifth goal of the season ensured Hartlepool United's first home win of the campain against York this afternoon.
Pool had failed to earn three points in four previous attempts, but Henderson's close range effort on 33 minutes after Paul Arnison clipped the ball back from the by-line.
York defender Mark Sertori was red-carded midway in the second half for a vicious two-footed lunge on Henderson. But the Pool defence was rarely put under pressure on loan defender Steve Baker had a comfortable afternoon in the back line on his debut.
