RESIDENTS have objected to a fence that has been erected around land being developed for homes.

Stockton Borough Council has received objections from residents in Bedlington Walk, Billingham, who are concerned that the fence is unsatisfactory in appearance, blocks off access routes to local services and reduces the value of their properties.

Discussions have been held and the developer is prepared to alter the fence, as well as adjust its position. However, the residents have rejected the offer.
