A GROUP of cyclists raised more than £1,770 for charity.
The cyclists, from Teesside Training Enterprise (TTE), rode 200 miles to raise the money for the charity FSIDS, which conducts research into Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
The eight cyclists, and four support crew, covered the 200 miles between Grangemouth, in Scotland, to Teesside in three days. Along the way, their ride took in Galashiels and Corbridge.
TTE trainer Brian Edwards, who organised the bike ride, said: "It was a marvellous experience and a real team effort.
"We struggled against the elements, but once the end was in sight we knew we could do it.
"FSIDS is a very deserving charity and I hope our donation can go some way in helping them continue their research.
"It is always a good motivator when you know that the hard work you are putting in is going towards helping a very important cause.
