A DRUNKEN reveller turned nasty after a woman took exception to his fancy dress antics, a court heard.
Keith Sheardown, 22, pinched and bit a girl's bottom while dressed as Austin Powers at a bash to mark his 21st birthday.
Mr Sheardown, of Killowen Street, Low Fell, Gateshead, also tried to look up girls' skirts as he mimicked the cheeky antics of the film character, during the boozy party on July 24 last year.
Newcastle Crown Court heard how women at the Ikon nightclub, in Newcastle, were shocked by his behaviour.
It was claimed that Christine McNinley, 22, was left with a broken nose after Mr Sheardown kicked her from behind and then head-butted her when she objected.
Yesterday, he denied indecent assault and causing actual bodily harm.
Fast food restaurant manager Miss McNinley told the court how she saw Mr Sheardown touching up girls, biting two on the bottom and pestering them.
She said that he had turned nasty when she confronted him.
She said: "He came over and I asked him why he kicked me.
"He said it wasn't a kick, it was a slap. I slapped him lightly on the face to demonstrate what a slap was.
"It was then he drew his head back and butted me in the nose."
Prosecuting, Jeremy Hargrove told the court: "It was a quite deliberate act. It was certainly no accident."
Miss McNinley was taken to Newcastle General Hospital and treated for a broken nose.
She was left cut, bruised and shocked, needing a month off work for an operation to straighten her broken nose.
She said she still suffers headaches from the attack.
The trial continues.
