VILLAGERS at Barton, near Richmond, turned out in force at the weekend to record the year 2000 with one of The Northern Echo's millennium village photographs.
Young and old members of the community came together to mark the special moment in time, in an event organised by the parish council.
Anne McFadzean, chair of the council, said: "This is something we will be able to look back on in years to come."
