KING of skiffle Lonnie Donegan is still on course for a sell- out North-East show after his gig was postponed following an accident.
The star was originally scheduled to perform at the Arc, Stockton, last month, but he broke a bone in his foot in an accident so the show has been rearranged for Wednesday, November 15.
After the accident, he went ahead with a couple of dates, including Trimdon Labour Club, County Durham, and the Labour Party Conference in Brighton, where he had to perform seated.
But he delayed his Stockton gig because he wanted to be able to give 100 per cent, so he did not disappoint fans.
Tickets for the September event are still valid, but there are also tickets available, on (01642) 666600.
