LOCAL children will fill up on nutritional advice as part of a national campaign.
Schools in East Cleveland will be visited by dieticians and oral health promotion staff from the Tees and North East Yorkshire NHS Trust as part of Food Awareness Week, which starts on Monday.
Children from Harry Dack, St Joseph's and Hummersea schools in Loftus and Whitecliffe School in Carlin Howe, will take part in the project being run in partnership with Surestart in Loftus.
Included in the week's activities will be quizzes, games, displays and fruit and vegetable tasting, based on the theme of food awareness.
Organisers hope to encourage the five to ten-year-olds taking part to eat more healthily
