MOTOR cycle enthusiasts are revving up for a weekend of nostalgia at the seaside.
The event taking place on Sunday is the 19th Teesside Classic Bike Show at Redcar Leisure Centre.
One of the fans looking forward to the event is Bill Tuffnell from Eston, near Middlesbrough, who will be showing off his 1947 Norton, which was lovingly restored in his garden shed.
Bill said: "A friend had the bike's bits stored in his garage for years and just wanted rid of it. It's taken us about a year to rebuild it."
The event is organised by Redcar and Cleveland Council and local classic motorcycle enthusiasts. It has cash prizes for the best bike in show and best club stand; with trophies for veteran and vintage bikes up to 1930, vintage 1931-1945, post war, 1946-1965, competition up to 1972, vintage Japanese up to 1984 and special interest
