BIKES from all over the North roared into the region this weekend for the 19th Teesside Classic Bike Show.
More than 100 bikes were on show at Redcar Leisure Centre yesterday, for experts and amateurs to admire.
Most of the bikes were made between the 1920s and 1980s and, for the first time, there was a special class for the owners of customised machines.
The event was organised by the Middlesbrough and District Motor Club.
Member Ernie Cruft said: "We introduced the customised class for the young people who make their bikes to their own specifications and designs.
"There are awards for the best bike in show, as well as for the clubs, and we have independent judges to hand them out.
"This year it has been a great success. We have been at this venue for three years and it is a very good place to hold it.
"We have also found the right time of year for the show - at the end of the biking season - so there are not many events elsewhere in the country."
