POLICE are pleased with a recent drop in vehicle crime in a County Durham village.
But, they have still urged residents in Hurworth, near Darlington, to be responsible for their property.
Acting Sergeant Steve Ball said: "I am pleased with the overall figures, which show a decrease in vehicle crime.
"People still have to be responsible, though, because the one day you don't leave your car in a garage will be the day it gets attacked."
