A GROUP of youngsters are far from brassed off after being given some second hand instruments from the British Steel Brass Band.
The band received new instruments through the National Lottery, but part of the deal was that the old instruments went to good causes.
Youngsters from Lockwood Junior School in Margrove Park, Badger Hill School at Brotton and Lingdale Primary School, all in east Cleveland, are the lucky recipients chosen by the band.
Some of the old instruments had to be traded in for more suitable pieces for children.
