CLIFF Richard's secret of retaining the looks of one of "the young ones" is finally out in the open.
He has had injections of a special toxin called Botox to get rid of the wrinkles in his forehead.
Sales of Botox are sure to soar as a result of the Peter Pan of Pop's priceless endorsement and he'll no doubt be offered endless free supplies of the stuff at the very least.
He's also insisted that he wouldn't think twice about having cosmetic surgery to preserve his youthful appearance.
The older and more successful Cliff has become, the more his detractors have enjoyed sniping at his music, his religious beliefs and his sexuality.
But he has reached his 60th birthday today with his legions of fans still intact and no one stays at the top for so long without having genuine talent.
Whether it be at sell-out concerts or during impromptu singalongs at rain-lashed Wimbledon, he knows how to entertain a crowd.
His talent has stood the test of time - and it would have done so with or without the help of anti-ageing treatments.
"You are going to age, that is a fact of life,'' says Cliff in a magazine interview to mark his birthday.
That's right Cliff, so why not just let it happen naturally? They'll still love you just the same.
