Four soldiers from The Green Howards Regiment appeared in court yesterday charged with murdering a man outside a nightclub.
Thomas Myers, 20, of Hartlepool, Wayne King, 20, from Yorkshire, David White, 22, from Cleveland, and Marc Hunter, 18, who gave his address as Battlesbury Barracks, Warminster, Wiltshire, appeared at Bristol Crown Court accused of murdering Glyne Agard, 34, outside the Reflections nightclub, in Westbury, Wiltshire, on June 18.
Myers, Hunter and King are also charged with two counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent to Mr Agard's brother, Stephen, and his friend, Gary Belgrave, both from Reading, Berkshire.
All four men are charged with violent disorder at the nightclub.
The men, from the Green Howards Regiment, based at Battlesbury Barracks, spoke only to confirm their names in court and enter not guilty pleas to all the charges.
Myers and King were remanded in custody.
Hunter and White were both released on conditional bail.
The hearing has been adjourned and a trial date set for April 30.
