Blackfyne
ALL three of the club's younger teams won in the Apollo Doors Gateshead Mini League.
At U-8 level they ran away with the game beating Redheugh B 7-0, the goals coming from Daniel Tool, Andrew Turnbull, James Severs, Jack Ward and Ben Camsell's hat-trick show earned him the MoM award.
The U-9s played Felling and came away 4-0 winners, Matthew Swinbume getting one and a hat-trick from Paul Bell 3 earned him man of the match.
The U-10s played Cleveland Hall and returned home with a 2-0 victory, Danny Walker getting both goals with the MoM award being won by Ross Terrington.
In the A and C Kelly Gateshead Youth League, the U-11 team slipped up, failing to put away their chances, and losing 4-2 against a good Low Fell A team. The Blackfyne scorers were Connal Read and Ben Pearson who gained the man of the match award.
At U-12 level Blackfyne's game against Redheugh was called off because of a waterlogged pitch.
In the New County Youth League, the U-17s are still searching for their first point of the season after losing 6-0 to a very good Dunston Federation team. Although Blackfyne's bad patch may be coming to an end, playing by far their best football of the season, and could have easily had four goals. Blackfyne's MoM was Kris Hewitt in his first game for the club.
Darlington Boys
The U-15s sparkling start to the Teesside Junior Alliance season was extended to three wins thanks to some fast-paced counter-attacking football.
Visitors Nunthorpe survived early scares and went ahead with a fine strike from Ben Cotts but the Boys responded with some neat passing which put in Danny Kachel for an equaliser. The home side started stronger in the second half and Ian Taylor ran through unchallenged to score. Nunthorpe missed a penalty before Cotts bundled home his second. Skipper Bob Harland turned in a Man of the Match performance to wrestle the midfield battle in the Boys' favour as Kachel finished off two powerful runs for his hat-trick. Taylor's beautifully-flighted free kick caught out the keeper to seal a 5-2 victory.
the U-12s lost a hard-fought game away to Sandhole 3-1, the goal scored by Simon Green while MoM Consett keeper Greg Storey saved a penalty.
The U-13s won 6-1 at home to Sandhole with goals from David Parker, Sean Henderson, Shaun Rogan, Michael Smith, Karl Turner and Paul McBride (pen), MoM Karl Turner.
The U-14s won 4-1 at South Shields Brinkburn in the County Cup with goals coming from Simon Thompson (2) and Daniel Stewart (2), MoM was Andrew Whitefield.
The U-15s were without a game while the U-16s won away to Wardley in the league cup with all three goals coming from John Lidster.
Willington
Martin Hopps scored a double hat-trick to earn him the MoM award and David Jackson got five goals for the U-14s in their 14-0 derby win away over Crook Town in the Russell Foster Youth League. Ryan Emsley (2) and Mark Bell also scored.
Top of the table U-13s won 5-1 away to Stockton North Tees with goals from Jonathan Archer, Thomas Copping, lee Formosa, Warren Robinson while MoM was Lee Tinkler. The U-11s lost 2-0 at Byers Green with Lewis Wright MoM.
The U-15s lost 4-3 at Hebburn with Terry Garside (2) and Davis Currie scoring.
In the Russell Foster short-sided leagues, the U-10s beat Redby CA Blues 2-0 and drew 0-0 with Fulwell Juniors to keep their unbeaten record. Jonathan Walker and Barry Shields scored in the first game, with Jonathan Baines MoM. Wayne Walker was MoM in the second game.
The U-9s lost 4-0 to City of Durham College 2-1 with Marcus Maddison and Jordan Roberts getting a goal apiece in both matches.
Fairs Software Tyneside Junior League
New Hartley won again to make it nine in a row, hitting eight at Blakelaw and their main scorers were Richard Guardson, David Forster and Daniel McManus who all scored twice. Jonathan Cassidy and Kevin Smith netted for Blakelaw.
West Denton beat Walker Central 4-2. Alan Taylor, Craig Pleasant and Damien Anderson (2) made up the winners' total. Andrew Robinson scored both Walker goals.
Redheugh travelled to Cleveland Hall and won 7-2 with Dean Conway (3) and Michael Hay (2) responsible for the bulk of the goals. Ian Mulholland responded for Cleveland Hall.
Another team to win away was Newcastle East End. Lee Helens, Jason Bates, Gavin Wood and Paul Blakes (2) made up East End's goals in a 5-1 success over Wide Open whose goal came from James Bell.

Gateshead League
In the Under-11 section, Low Fell A maintained their 100 per cent record by beating Blackfyne 4-2, Jack Fannen helped Low Fell with a couple of goals.
Winlaton won their first game as Chris Dixon struck twice in a 3-0 victory over Felling. Leam Rangers made it five successive victories. Four from Kyle Moffatt and a Charlie Lamb hat-trick paved the way for a 9-0 success at Chopwell.
Two each from Alex Hudson and Michael Curry set up Leam Rangers B 5-1 win over Sandhole.
Sandhole moved to the top of the Under-12 division. Dale Carr's double ensured a 3-1 win over Consett. Gavin Jary and Daniel Iverson both notched four each as Leam Rangers acccounted for Winlaton 8-2. Liam Henderson (2) helped Low Fell to a 5-1 win against Whickham Glebe.
Blaydon's 8-0 victory at Cleveland Hall means they now lead the Under-13 division. Shaun Best (3) and Liam Bell (2) led the scoring.
Leam Rangers lie one point behind Blaydon. A hat-trick by Michael Kennedy and two from Lee Harris helped them to a 6-1 success against Winlaton.
In the Under-14 County Cup one goal settled the game between Winlaton and Hartburn. Craig Boyd won the tie for Winlaton.
Consett did well to beat South Shields Brinkburn 4-1 while Cleveland Hall had an easy 5-1 victory over Sunderland Fulwell.
There were plenty of goals in the Under-15 league. Leam Rangers, Winlaton and Cleveland Hall all scored seven times in their matches. David Smith and Andrew Hetherington notched hat-trick as Leam Rangers won 7-1 at South Shields. There was a Chris Bond hat-trick in Winlaton's 7-0 win over Dawdon. Chris Fairless was also a three-goal man when Cleveland Hall beat Wardley 7-3.
Byers Green
Ithe Russell Foster Small-sided League, the U-8s lost both games, 1-0 to Barnes Park and 2-0 to Easington Eagles.
The U-9s Haze picked up only point, losing their first game 2-0 and then drew 1-1 in the second game with Redby Blues with a goal from Louis Gleghorn.
The U-9s Bees lost out in both games, firstly 4-1 to Belford House, Aaron Jackson on target with a consolation goal, and in the second game Bees went down 3-2 in a close-fought game with Fulwell, Sam Green hitting both goals.
The U-10 Haze lifted the gloom with two convincing wins, taking them back to second place. In the first game Haze defeated Barnes Youth 5-1 with goals from Reece Ellis, DJ Simpson, Richard Suddes and two from Ethan Rivers. There was also a fine performance from Andrew Stephenson in defence. In the second game Haze ran out 2-0 winners over Fulwell with a third goal on the day from Rivers and one more for Ellis. Goalkeeper Adam Jackson pulled off some great saves, including a penalty.
Byers Green U-10s Bees suffered similar fortunes to most of the Byers Green small-sided teams, only picking up one point from two games. In the first, however, Byers performed very well in a hard-fought goalless game with City of Durham Wasps, a game where Byers had chances to take all three points. In the second game, however, Bees went down 3-0 to Redby Blues.
The U-14s progressed to the second round of the County Cup with an easy win over Hendon 9-1 with Matthew Taylor and Ryan Keithley both scoring hat-tricks. The U-15s played at home to South Tyneside in a game in which they took an early lead through Anthony Ebdon but after that couldn't put two passes together and went on to lose 2-1.

Bishop Auckland St Mary's
The U-11s gained a comfortable 4-0 victory away to Yarm Town Juniors in the Teesside Alliance. Karl Wilson, Louis Donohue, Danny Bell and Kyle Etherington shared the goals. The U-12s lost a pulsating match 3-1 at home to Yarm Town, Craig Robson scoring. The U-10s lost 1-0 at home to Billingham Town
