A GIANT pink inflatable tent provided the colourful backdrop for a fairytale performance at a school.
The tent was pitched in the grounds of Deerness Valley Comprehensive School, Bearpark, County Durham, on Saturday, where 20 local people were staging Lost In The Woods.
The play was the culmination of four months of work led by arts development worker Douglas Walker and student Margriet Struik. The plot centred on two young people who were in search of the home village.
Mr Walker said: "The youngsters have shown enormous commitment right throughout their summer holidays devising the piece."
The play was part of a fun day of exhibits and displays
