POLICE in Darlington were last night still hunting the man who raped a young woman in one of the town's parks.
Despite several appeals, including one from the victim, the attacker, believed to be in his early 20s, has yet to be caught.
Detectives in the town are still investigating the incident, which happened almost two weeks ago in North Lodge Park.
The victim, aged 21, met her attacker outside the town's Plastered Parrot nightclub. They then went to the Mardi Gras, in Gladstone Street. She left the club at about 1.30am.
Closed circuit TV shows the man leaving after her and following her along the road towards the park. He attacked her there, in the early hours of Saturday, October 7.
