CIU Individual League
IN the second week of the league, Norman Kirkley of Hunwick met Charlie Donaghy of Tow Law but just never hit his true form as Donaghy took all three frames without the game ever reaching any quality. In the second match John Bate of Hunwick dropped the first two frames to Donaghy but then hit his best form to take the final frame by a 41 point margin, the best of the night. In the final match Kirkley found his best form in the first frame against Bate and ran through to a 37 points win only to go down in the second frame. In the deciding third frame it was a good late run form Kirkley which took hime to victory. On Thursday, October 26 the games at Willington are between Norman Geener of Wingate, Arnold Fleming of Hunwick and Jim Alcock of Wingate. Starting on Thursday November 2 there will be four weeks of games at Hunwick
