A GROUP of Finnish students is taking in the sights of Teesside as part of an exchange visit.
The ten students, who arrived last week, were welcomed at Teesside Tertiary College as part of an exchange visit.
The students, aged between 16 and 19, who are all studying electronic engineering, travelled from Uusikaupunki to Teesside Airport for the two-week visit.
They received financial help from the European Community Initiative for their return trip, after students from Teesside visited Finland in February.
Barrie Greenwood, a lecturer at the Middlesbrough college, said: "Teesside Tertiary College actively encourages trans-national partnerships and collaboration with parties abroad.
"We are delighted to welcome the Finnish students to the college."
