Boosbeck won their match 5-0 at Great Ayton - scoring all the goals in the first half. Shane Breckon opened the scoring after two minutes when he was one on one with Stuart Readman and rounded him to score. Danny Sleeman was Boosbeck's Man of the Match as he set up chance after chance and Breckon scored once more with Richard Darcy also netting twice and Ian Brown once as Boosbeck dominated. Ayton made a substitution at half time, bringing on Stephen Pennock and he showed some fine midfield skills to stem the Boosbeck flow and also create opportunities for his own forwards. Unfortunately Ayton could not find the net and the half time score became the final score.
On a heavy pitch a good all round team performance made Huntsman good value as they claimed all three points with a 2-0 win against Lingdale. Huntsman took the lead after 15 minutes when Ian Wagner fed Jason Downing and he chipped goalkeeper Peter Gibson. Huntsman got their second goal when Richard Holland broke well and supplied the perfect cross for Mark Johnson at the far post with just under ten minutes remaining. Lingdale still pressed forward but when an Ian Boyes cross finally eluded Huntsman 'keeper Ian Moore, Phil Jackson was on hand to head away and ensure the visitors maintained their clean sheet.
Anchor led at half time thanks to a Matthew Jones goal in their 1-1 draw at home to Redcar Mackinlay Park. Martin Gibbins equalised for the visitors as they enjoyed the better of the second half in a game played in good spirit.
The game between Grosmont and Goldsborough started even but as Grosmont took their chances and Goldsborough's attacks came up against Man of the Match Kevin Little the game, swung into Grosmont's favour and the second half was very much one way traffic. Karl Swales was behind much of the visitors' attacks and he was deservedly adjudged their Man of the Match. The half time score was three one to the home side while scorers for Grosmont were Duncan Raw, John Ward, Gareth Moore (2), Ben Metcalfe and Thomas Smeaton with Rob Clark getting what proved to be Goldsborough's consolation goal in their 6-1 defeat. Referee Colin Ward had a fine game.
A first half hat trick for Ged Cairns set up Grangetown's 5-1 victory at Hinderwell. Paul Clennan pulled a goal back in the second half but two strikes from substitute Karl Wall secured the points.
Darren Harland gave Lealholm the lead after ten minutes before opponents Brotton equalised through Rodney Stone. Harland restored the lead in the second half when he headed home a long cross field ball. Brotton enjoyed all the play in the second period but could not find a way through the resolute home defence who hung on to the 2-1 win. Man of the Match for Lealholm was Simon Shipton with Stephen Bedingfield getting the award for Brotton.
Veteran Keven Peel gave Loftus Ath the lead against Loftus YC when his well flighted free kick eluded the visiting goalkeeper. Alec Grey equalised just on the half time whistle to set up a stirring second half in this village derby. Ian Dixon put Athletic club back in front and Mark George sealed the 3-1 victory with a late strike.
Staithes' Kevin Hampton opened the scoring in the first half at home to Highland Laddie when the ball ricocheted off his head into the visitors goal. At half time Staithes brought on their substitutes to liven the game up with Robin Smith joining son Glenn in attack and Paul Theaker making a big difference in the midfield area. Glenn Smith netted the second goal and James Wilson scored the goal of the game as Staithes took complete control. Richie Mclean scored a consolation goal for the visitors as Staithes sat back on their lead and ended as 3-1 winners
